The Eternal God

The blanks next to “Yahweh” and “Adonai” need to be filled in as they are with “Elohim” or there needs to be some explanation for why they are left blank. (similar comment by M.Shuff)

What do we know about the God of the Bible?  He is eternal (matter is not eternal); He exists totally apart from time; He knows what happened in the beginning because He was there..
I would like to see what others have said we can know from the first four words of the Bible!

Also, the greyed out words under “English word” or “Meaning” leads me to think that we will deal with them in a later lesson.  If that isn’t the case, maybe they could be darker.

“Why is it reasonable to assume that something or someone has always existed?”
My answers:
1.  Nothing doesn’t create anything.
2. God stated it.
Other answers would be appreciated if you would like to post.

“What are some other possible words that some people might use instead of “God?”
My answers:
1.  There was a “lightning spark” which caused a chain reaction for elements that now exist.
2.  matter
